Ambient Foundation Village Pilot Program
As part of our first pilot program, teams of volunteers,
partners, and Ambient Foundation employees will provide clean
electrical power to off-grid villages in Africa.
 The
Ambient Village Pilot Program includes power distribution for up to seven
residential buildings
and a water pump. In addition to providing electrical power,
the team will donate items essential to capacity building
that will run on the newly generated electricity. These
includes, for example, water purification systems,
irrigation pumps, electric cook tops, outdoor lighting,
electronics such as radios and laptop computers, and
equipment for generating income such
as a sewing machine or power tools. The team may also make
available hot water, electricity for a local health clinic,
and an internet connection. The team will provide
installation, instructions, and education. Villages will be
selected based on critical
needs, partnerships, and funding availability.
